Our approach to accommodation.
Barclay can assist with accommodation whilst you are studying with us.
Family-Stay
Family-stays (or home stays) are all with approved host families in houses that are located close to the school in Central Havana.
Family-stays include a simple private room with a shared bathroom. Guests are free to come and go as they please, but you should always respect the routine and rules of the family.
Comfortable beds, electricity, and hot showers are provided. Please note that family-stays do not have WiFi, however we can suggest nearby hotels where you go to download emails and check the internet.
Family-stays include breakfast. Our host families are very accustomed to hosting international guests and will do their best to accommodate your needs, however please be aware that many supplies in Cuba are in short stock so you should expect simple but tasty food. When registering you must let us know about any dietary restrictions you have.
All family-stays are within a 10 minute walk to Barclay. Please note that all reservations for accommodation must be secured with a credit card but then paid in cash as the time of commencing your classes.

Private Apartment
Private apartments are fully furnished and comfortable. Apartments come with modest kitchens including plates and utensils required to live comfortably and cook for yourself.
Private apartments are great options for individuals who prefer their privacy and also for couples. Apartments are centrally located and are within easy walking distance of Barclay.
Please note that no food is provided as part of the apartment option

Hotel
There are number of hotels located within a 20 minute walk to the school, these include Hotel Ingleterra, Hotel Plaza, Hotel Telegrafo and Parque Central.
